I don't know whether it was a recent windows software update but my 5 meter USB extension cables that I have used for 5 years suddenly stopped working with my mouse and keyboard as if not enough power. Test the above with the wheel directly connected to your computer as some USB extension cables can make this problem occur due to power issues if the cable is too long or old. ![]() Just make sure your wheel is plugged into the USB port, you don't even need to plug your G29 wheel into a power socket, your buttons etc will show each press and which button you pressed. You can also test all buttons and pedals from this screen. Click this Icon and it will automatically open up the joy.cpl application to test your wheel in game. If you are using Content Manager, At the top right, select Settings / Assetto Corsa / Controls then on the top far right hand side you will see a COG wheel Icon in a red circle. If you unplug the wheel, you will see these 2 drivers will disappear from Device Manager. If these 2 are not showing then it is either the USB port or you need to reinstall the Logitech Gaming Software again as the drivers have not loaded up. Open the tab "Human interface Devices" and with your wheel plugged into the USB port, You don't need to plug the wheel into any power source, you need to make sure these 2 drivers are showing up.Ī. You can do this by right clicking the start / Windows button at bottom right corner of windows then selecting Device Manager. If still not working, make sure the wheel drivers are working. Normally if and when say, Automobilista does not see my wheel while in game and I open joy.cpl, as soon as I press a button or a peddle, Automobilista sees my wheel in game and it works. This normally kicks starts the game to recognise the wheel. If your controller is not listed here, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable and see of windows Beeps to confirm it has been connected. You can click on the "Settings"tab and calibrate your wheel from here. Another window will open where you can either click on the "test" tab test your wheels full rotation and pedals. Select your wheel and click on properties. IF no wheel is there, then it is a connection issue. Here you should see your wheel and any other connected controllers displayed. Go to the windows start menu / search bar and type in " joy.cpl" then open it up. If your wheel button presses are recognised then it is not a connection issue but the game itself.ģ. Here you can see whether the wheel / buttons are working. On the main page, click on the graphic of your wheel then at the top, Right click on the game profile and select "test profile" in the drop down menu. ![]() Make sure you have your Logitech gaming software open for your wheel and you have selected the correct profile for the game.Ģ.
